JAXX TMS

Jaxx TMS, Berlin-based curator, DJ, broadcaster and a member of the creative collective SLIC Unit, is widely recognized for her expansive musical range and fervor for uniting cultural and community initiatives. With a rich background encompassing Caribbean, British and Spanish influences, Jaxx was exposed to genres such as lovers rock, jazz, soul, and hip hop at an early stage. To pay homage to the sounds that moulded her, she initiated the “EXPRESSIONS” mix series, which has evolved into her own radio show on Refuge Worldwide and which was transformed into her own club show in August 2023. Central to Jaxx TMS’s identity is her profound love for dance music, drawing inspiration from the raw energy of its roots in 90s as well as contemporary house and uplifting electronic sonics, with a keen focus on the UK and US sounds and scenes. This year, she launched her own nights at TRESOR with “Globus invites…” and has collaborated with renowned platforms such as NTS, Rhythm Section, Balamii, Mahogany Music, Azymuth, DJOON, Toy Tonics, Detroit in Effect, OHM, The Ransom Note, Arte Concerts, Nation of Gondwana, Melt Festival, and many more. In November of this year she featured on Boiler Room Berlin which is set to feature on their channel in early 2024. Jaxx TMS’s dedication to the dynamic world of dance music is evident in her diverse collaborations and her energetic contributions to the scene. Stay tuned for the unfolding of her musical journey.
